A sterling silver cross from the Ogham Celtic High Cross Collection. This detailed cross is an authentic copy of the designs found on each main side of the North Cross at Ahenny, Co. Tipperary, one of two similar cross found there at the monastic site of Kilclispean, part of the "Ossory group" of crosses. These crosses are believed to have been carved in the 8th century, when the monastery founded at the site was thriving. The cross itself measures 3cm x 2cm and comes on a 46cm or 18inch silver chain. Made in Ireland.
